October 7th and 8th for the NCBGH Fall Forum!
We’re planning a “Grand” celebration of both a return to in-person events and NCBGH’s 10th Anniversary at the Grandover Resort in Greensboro, NC.

On Thursday, October 7, pre-forum networking events which will include options for touring the International Civil Rights Museum or joining colleagues in a round of golf on the Grandover’s championship courses.  A reception for all attendees will follow.

On Friday, we’ll welcome a keynote by Dr. Marty Makary, New York Times bestselling author and leading voice for transparency in healthcare.  He is the recipient of the 2020 Business Book of the Year Award for The Price We Pay. A professor at the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health, he has published over 250 scientific articles on the re-design of health care, medical innovation, and vulnerable populations. Dr. Makary has been elected to the National Academy of Medicine and is Editor-in-Chief of Medpage Today. He has written for The Wall Street Journal, The New York Times, and USA Today and is a frequent medical commentator.

We’ll also hear perspectives on Washington Policy and the Future of Healthcare from Tracy Watts, National Leader for U.S. Health Policy at Mercer, as well as others providing insights into future impacts on employer healthcare benefits across North Carolina and the nation.
