Applications Open for the 2024 North Carolina Culture of Wellbeing Award, Presented by the North Carolina Business Coalition on Health
Charlotte, NC – January 2, 2024 – The North Carolina Business Coalition on Health (NCBCH), is pleased to announce that applications are now open for the 2024 North Carolina Culture of Wellbeing Award. Formerly known as the Culture of Wellness Award, the rebranded award aligns with the evolving landscape of employer initiatives focusing on comprehensive health and happiness strategies.
NCBCH is a non-profit coalition of employers and other key healthcare stakeholders in the state, using their collective voice to influence decisions impacting the quality and cost of healthcare delivery systems. Through a commitment to fostering collaboration and innovation, NCBCH strives to advocate, innovate, and educate for a better healthcare cost and quality.
In response to the changing paradigms, the application process has been streamlined for the 2024 edition, emphasizing five core components to evaluate employer programs. The components are:
- Culture, Foundation, and Policies
- Program Offerings/Tools/Incentives
- Strategic Planning and Communications
- Reporting Metrics and Evaluation
- Innovation
This shift underscores the commitment of the North Carolina Business Coalition on Health to recognize and celebrate employers’ broader and more holistic approaches to employee wellbeing.
The award is open to all employers in North Carolina who are dedicated to fostering a workplace culture that prioritizes the health and happiness of their workforce. Employers interested in participating can submit their applications online at ncbch.net/wellness. The deadline for submission is February 12, 2024.
Winners of the North Carolina Culture of Wellbeing Award will be announced at the NCBCH Spring Forum, a premier event taking place on March 15, 2024, at the Grandover Resort in Greensboro, NC.
