The Lactation Network (TLN) is the largest provider network of International Board-Certified Lactation Consultants (IBCLCs) in the country. We provide what is considered the gold standard of care because our IBCLC clinicians receive the highest level of education you can obtain for breastfeeding support (the level of support recommended by the Surgeon General).
The Affordable Care Act mandates that breastfeeding support should be covered by all major health plans as preventative care medicine, with no out-of-pocket costs for families. Most often, despite health plan documents citing coverage, the network of providers is far from adequate or has no coverage at all.
TLN partners with employers to ensure their health plans have adequate access to this critical preventative care benefit during the prenatal and postpartum phases for the employees and dependents they support. 95% of moms who receive our care return back-to-work post-maternity leave compared to the national average of only 59%.
