Fiduciary In A Box

A new resource for NCBCH Employer Members to help organize, manage, and document healthcare fiduciary governance.

NCBCH, through our relationship with the National Alliance of Healthcare Purchaser Coalitions, is pleased to make Fiduciary In A Box (FIAB) available to our employer members at special member pricing.

Healthcare plan governance has become increasingly complex. As regulatory requirements, vendors, reporting responsibilities, and documentation demands grow, employers need a more structured way to manage their fiduciary responsibilities and maintain an organized record of their governance process.

What is Fiduciary In A Box?

Fiduciary In A Box is a cloud-based fiduciary governance, operating, and document storage system built specifically for ERISA-aligned healthcare plan oversight. Rather than simply providing another place to store documents, FIAB provides a guided process to help plan sponsors understand what is required, identify what may be missing, organize information, and document decisions over time.

Structured Governance

Standardize fiduciary governance processes across your healthcare plan rather than relying on informal or inconsistent practices.

Audit-Ready Oversight

Build and maintain documentation as decisions are made instead of trying to reconstruct the record when questions arise.

Centralized Documentation

Keep fiduciary documents organized in one secure location with role-based access for appropriate members of your team and trusted partners.

Think of FIAB as an operating system for healthcare plan governance. It does not tell employers what to buy, which vendors to select, or which advisors to use. Instead, it provides an underlying structure for organizing information, guiding processes, documenting decisions, and maintaining consistent oversight.

What FIAB Helps Employers Do

  • Create a clear, organized view of healthcare governance in one place
  • Centralize important fiduciary documents
  • Use guided workflows to support prudent, repeatable decision-making
  • Build documentation over time rather than in response to a crisis
  • Improve coordination across HR, Finance, Legal, and Risk
  • Provide appropriate role-based access to internal teams and trusted partners
  • Reduce gaps and guesswork in plan oversight
  • Maintain a governance process that can evolve as requirements, vendors, and risks change

More Than Software: Guided Employer Education

In addition to access to the FIAB platform, employers purchasing through NCBCH will receive access to a guided educational series led personally by Jamie Greenleaf, Co-Founder of Fiduciary In A Box, at no additional cost.

The educational sessions are designed to help employers better understand:

  • Fiduciary committee structure and oversight
  • CAA 2021 and CAA 2026 requirements
  • Vendor and PBM transparency
  • Documentation and governance best practices
  • Building a defensible fiduciary process
