The American Medical Association (AMA) and Manatt Health released an analysis this month identifying effective state policies used to combat the opioid epidemic. NC State Health Plan Announce 2020 Network to Include Hospitals

New Rand Study Reveals NC Hospital Prices Paid by Private Health Plans are Near National Average at 234% of Medicare

According to a recent Rand Study which reviewed data from hospitals and employers in 25 states, private health plans in North Carolina pay an average of 234% of Medicare. Coincidentally, this is the average of all the states in the study, however the rates between those states varied from a high of 311% in Indiana,
